Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a highly reactive aldehyde gas formed by oxidation or incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons. In solution, it has a wide range of uses: in the manufacture of resins and textiles, as a disinfectant, and as a laboratory fixative or preservative. Environmentally, formaldehyde may be found in the atmosphere, smoke from fires, automobile exhaust and cigarette smoke.

    The NET3 Cyber Head (ATEX/IECEx certified) has been developed for use as a component of a fixed gas detection system or as a full conformity field device. It can accommodates a Cyber transmitter module with 4-20 mA and digital (RS485 Modbus) outputs. The electronics are connected to an infrared, pellistor or electrochemical gas sensor.
