The NET UL/CSA product line is the new series of stainless-steel and aluminium enclosures designed by N.E.T. for use in fixed flammable gas detection where North American recognition is required.
This series is an ideal solution for gas detection system manufacturers who prefer not to invest in:
- Developing a sensor or finding it on the market;
- Developing electronics and firmware to process, compensate and linearise signals;
- Designing their own detection head;
- Obtaining UL and CSA recognition for the device.
The UL/CSA lineup covers various levels of integration, from a simple sensor+housing option to a full sensor+electronics+housing package (NDIR only), which can be integrated into existing gas detectors, included in new designs or used as a standalone field device connected to a controller. The full N.E.T. sensor range (Electrochemical Cells, Catalytic Bead Pellistors and Infrared) is available in UL/CSA Heads, with NDIR sensors also available with industry-standard 4-20mA and RS485 outputs.
The enclosure is fitted with an external M46 thread at the front end and comes with three possible threads at the rear to fit in most detector housings (¾”,1” or M20). Full PC software and connection boards are available for Head which include NDIR sensors to plot live readings, perform calibrations and modify an array of settings.
