NET NEWSLETTER Q1-26
2026 marks our 25th anniversary. While this milestone confirms our stability, our focus remains on the future and new developments.
Following our participation at AHR Expo and MCE, we are pleased to outline the latest technical developments.
One of the highlights of this year is the NETC3 DIN-R, a complete, ready-to-use and cost-effective detection head aimed at making refrigerant leak detection easy and affordable in any application scenario. This product is best suited for Gas detection system manufacturers and heat pump/chiller or other refrigerant appliance manufacturers looking to streamline their development process.
• Reliable detection of A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants and CO2
• Local alarm relay
• RS-485 Modbus communication
• NET IR or Molecular Thermal Conductivity technology
• No false alarms, no regular calibration required
• 15+ years of expected lifetime. (Can be opened, allowing straightforward sensor replacement at the end of its operational lifespan.)

By adopting this ready-made solution, users can avoid the substantial investment required for:
- Sensor Sourcing: Identifying or developing specialized sensors.
- R&D: Developing complex electronics and firmware for signal processing, compensation, and linearization.
- Engineering: Designing proprietary detection heads.
- Certification: ATEX/IECEx certification process.
The NETC3 DIN-R is a high-performance enclosure, available in stainless steel or aluminium, which includes a specific Gas sensor and integrated electronics. Designed for versatility, it can serve as a core component for fixed gas detection systems or as a fully compliant, standalone field device.
- Communication: RS-485 Modbus output alongside dedicated fault and alarm relays.
- Power Supply: 12-24VDC.
- Safe Sampling: Features an integral stainless steel sintered filter; an optional adapter (NET-GD3) will soon be available for IP65 and dust protection (II 2GD).
- Mechanical Flexibility: Includes an M46 external thread for accessories and three rear thread options (3/4”, 1”, or M20) for seamless integration into existing detector housings.
