N.E.T. at SENSOR+TEST 2026: Gas Sensing Technologies for OEM and Industrial Applications

N.E.T. will exhibit at SENSOR+TEST 2026, the international trade fair dedicated to sensing, measurement and testing technologies.

Hall 1 – Booth 360
9–11 June 2026
Die Messtechnik-Messe, Nuremberg

SENSOR+TEST brings manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators together to explore current developments in sensing technologies and industrial applications. The 2026 edition will focus on innovation, with a three-day program covering new products and industry trends.

NETC3 DIN-R: Detection Head for Refrigerant Monitoring

NET’s product lineup now includes the NETC3 DIN-R, a complete, ready-to-use and cost-effective detection head aimed at making refrigerant leak detection easy and affordable in any application scenario.

This product is best suited for gas detection system manufacturers and heat pump/chiller or other refrigerant appliance manufacturers looking to streamline their development process.

Some of its main advantages are:

  • Reliable detection of A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants and CO2
  • Local alarm relays
  • RS-485 Modbus communication
  • NET IR or Molecular Thermal Conductivity technology
  • No false alarms, no regular calibration required
  • 15+ years of expected lifetime.

By adopting this ready-made solution, users can avoid the substantial investment required for:

  • Sensor Sourcing: Identifying or developing specialized sensors.
  • R&D: Developing complex electronics and firmware for signal processing, compensation, and linearization.
  • Engineering: Designing proprietary detection heads.
  • Certification: expensive and time-consuming ATEX/IECEx certification process.

The NETC3 DIN-R is a high-performance enclosure, available in stainless steel or aluminium, which includes a specific gas sensor and integrated electronics. Designed for versatility, it can serve as a core component for fixed gas detection systems or as a fully compliant, standalone field device.

NETC3 DIN-R includes:

  • Communication: RS-485 Modbus output alongside dedicated fault and alarm relays.
  • Power Supply: 12-24VDC.
  • Safe Sampling: Features an integral stainless steel sintered filter; an optional adapter (NET-GD3) will soon be available for IP65 and dust protection (II 2GD).
  • Mechanical Flexibility: M46 external thread for accessories and three rear thread options (3/4”, 1”, or M20) for seamless integration into existing detector housings.

Hydrogen Detection with Thermal Conductivity: MAK Sensor

At booth 360, you’ll also find the new MAK sensor.

MAK detects Hydrogen concentrations in air by measuring the change in Thermal Conductivity of the Gas mixture.

MAK: KEY CHARACTERISTICS

The MAK sensor platform is designed for OEM integration and industrial applications, offering:

  • Individual calibration and testing, for measurements you can trust
  • Extended temperature range (-40 °C to +60 °C), for use in any environment
  • Active Environmental compensation (Temperature, RH, Pressure)
  • Internal microprocessor, for advanced signal processing
  • Standard industrial size, to fit existing detectors
  • Low power consumption
  • Fast T90 response time (< 20 s), for critical and life-saving applications
  • Outstanding long-term stability of 1 % F.S./year
  • ModBus for ease of integration
  • Signal versatility: voltage and optional bridge or pellistor output
  • Solid, rugged construction with stainless steel enclosure
  • Standard industrial accepted negative or positive pinout

MAK sensor is compatible with most existing detector designs, including platforms originally developed for NDIR sensors, which enables drop-in integration without major redesign.
