A NEW ADDITION TO THE IREF LITE RANGE: R-449a.
NET already features the most complete range of refrigerant leak detection solutions on the market today, but as the market is constantly introducing new refrigerants, we are constantly designing new sensors.
We are proud to introduce our latest addition for R-449a, a refrigerant gas intended for use in low and medium temperature refrigeration systems to replace R-22, R-404A or R-507. It can also be used to retrofit R-22-based blends such as R-402A/B and R-408A.
Already avaiable in the IREF PRO. range, it will now be available on the IREF LITE range with 0-5.000ppm range.
About R-449a
R449a is a mixture of common hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) and new hydrofluoro-olefin molecule R1234yf (HFO), a composition of R32 (24%), R125 (25%), R134a (26%), and R1234yf (25%) gases. Refrigerant R449a is non-toxic and non-flammable and has been assigned A1 safety classification under EN 378 and ASHRAE 34 standards. Chlorine is not present in R449a, and consequently, it has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). Its global warming potential (1397) is 64% respectively lower than R404a.
R449a is suitable for new installations as well as for retrofit of existing systems, offering improved energy efficiency and environmental properties.
